No Aluminum heads or blocks allowed
No raised runner heads.
- STEEL
HEADS - 23 degree heads for Chevy; 18 degree heads
Mopar only; 10 degree heads Ford only. (N-351 Allowed) 49cc minimum
(plus or minus 2cc) 362 Cubic inch maximum. Roller Cam Allowed. Flat
top pistons with dry system 2450lbs. (wet systems 2400lbs.) with a 12”x72”
Spoiler, and no longer than 18”, 12” high on side braces.
- After market rods and crank
shafts allowed.
- All weight standards listed
above include driver.
- No grinding or blending
of CNC work is allowed.
- No grinding or polishing
on the breather area.
- No use of any substance
that may change or alter the shape or size of port or combustion chambers
allowed.
- A maximum valve size of
2.050 intake and 1.600 exhaust will be allowed for all heads.
- Valve seats and guides are
to remain as manufactured in their cast positions. Valve angles are
to remain as manufacturers. The original seat center locations are provided
by the Head manufacturer may not be altered.
- No tapering or reshaping
of valve guides will be allowed.
- Minimum valve stem diameter
is 11/32”
- All cylinder Head serial
numbers must remain on the head and may not be defaced or altered.
- No welding or modifications
are allowed to the original head castings.
- Engine cu in. formula:
Bore x Bore x Stroke x.7854 x #of cylinders.
- V-6 rear of block must be
in the same location as that for the V-8 engines.
- All engines must be based
on factory designs and be naturally aspirated. No turbo chargers or
blowers. No fuel injection.
- Maximum engine setback is
6 inches for all cars with a ½” variance allowed. Measured
from the center of ball joint to the number 1 front spark plug hole.
- Magnetos are permitted,
but all cars must have an operating self-starter.
- Any attached weights must
be securely bolted to frame, and must be painted white or silver and
have car number clearly painted on them. Due to high risk factor involved,
any car that loses a lead weight during any event may be banned from
events for the rest of the season or fined. Two attaching mounts are
recommended.
- The minimum weights specified
for each engine rule, are the minimum that the race car must weigh at
qualifying/time trials.
- Bert transmission or equivalent
is permitted.
- Engine Protest: $200 to
have motors P&G; $300 to buy MSD box only
Tear Down: $450 Head and Manifold; $450 Bottom End.

TRACTION CONTROL, THE TRACK HAS THE RIGHT TO BUY ANY PART OF THE CAR
AT FAIR MARKET VALUE. (ANY PART THAT PERTAINS TO TRACTION CONTROL)
- THIS CLASS MUST HAVE 10
CARS OR THE PURSE MAY BE CUT BY ONE POSITION; FIVE CARS OR LESS MAY
WARRANT CUTTING THE PURSE TWO POSITIONS.
